The 'Verdi' apartment , which sleeps 2 people, is airy, stylish and well-positioned on the raised
ground floor of the famous 'LE COLYSEE' building, the historic Art
Deco landmark in the heart of the Musician's Quarter, the most sought-after
residential area in Nice.
Just
three minutes walk from the train station, it is a delightful two
minute stroll to the Promenade des Anglais, the best shops in Nice,
the Bay of Angels, and miles of beaches.
By taxi, hire car or private car, the property is conveniently
only ten minutes from Nice Airport. You enter the building through
wrought-iron doors and pass around the 1930's style fountain with
marble staircase. The apartment, quietly positioned facing the leafy
courtyard, is spacious and bright with high french ceilings and
polished marble floors throughout.
Accommodation
The
main room measures six meters by four metres. The ceilings
are three and a half metres high which give a feeling of spaciousness.
The full length windows are three metres high and have a wrought-iron
balustrade / balconnette overlooking the quiet courtyard. The room
is equipped to a high standard, with a full-size leather sofa, colour
TV, stereo CD player/radio, and dining table.
To one side of the lounge is an alcove with a full-size double
bed.
To the front of the apartment there is a separate kitchen
with a range of cupboards, an electric cooker with two ring hob,
microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, and fridge/freezer. In
the hall, there is extra storage space, with iron and ironing board.
There is a bathroom with shower facility, washing basin,
vanitory unit, hairdryer and toilet. The apartment is centrally
heated and has an entry phone system.
Nearby Facilities
Fresh
local produce is available less than one minute away. You can walk
to the beach in two minutes, to the beautiful 'Nice Etoile' shopping
mall in two minutes, and to the train station in three minutes.
The top pedestrian shopping streets, delightful Old Town, marina,
old port, and Parc du Chateau are less than ten minutes walk away.
If you prefer not to walk, there is a bus stop ten meters from the
apartment. With it's perfect location and proximity to the beach,
the station, and shopping, the apartment is ideally placed for you
to enjoy Nice and the entire region.
